Shirt
I had decided long ago I am going to Sharpie certain names on my marathon shirt that have had the unfortunate experience of going to battle with cancer. It may seem like a small thing but if you would like to add a name to cross the finish line with me, I would be honored. Leave a comment on this page and I will add it. If you would rather have it written on Tommy or Bruce’s shirt, I will let them know as well. Please forward this page to your friends who you think might want to add a name.

1And if you could also Add Lauren Schall to your shirt that would be great. She as well battled the Beast and won and is doing great too. We went through some treatments together!! Thank you again!!!
2Lance,
What a great tribute to Robert.
I was diagnosed Stage I in 1999. Progressed to Stage IV December 08 with mets in the brain, lungs, spine, adrenal gland, and intestine. I’ve been a participant in a medical trial. So far the meds are working.
In an effort to get back into shape I’ve been biking with the goal of riding at least one day of the Pan Mass Challenge in August.
I would be honored to have my name added to your shirt for the NY marathon. I would also like to add Roberts name as one I will carry with me during training and hopefully the PMC in August.
Best Regards,
Jerry Sullivan
3My brother is battling Melanoma. He is currently 37 years of age. He has a beautiful wife and 4 wonderful daughters that he is fighting to live for. He had a mole removed 1 year ago which was melanoma. SNB was negative. In July of this year, he started having blurry vision and headaches. Scan results showed that the melanoma not only reappeared, but metasticized to multiple locations. Last week he had his eye removed, and is not recovering well from this. My brother has always been an athlete, and I believe he would be honored to have his name on a T-Shirt. Thank you for your dedication to fighting this horrid disease that takes loved ones much to early. Sarah
My brother’s name is Jeremy Howard
4James aunt Linda Moore is battling brain cancer they think they have shrunk it 90% but will do more test in November to see what the next steps are.
There are so many people who are affected by cancer. The treatments have come a long way over the last 22 years when I lost my dad, Hoy Davis but still treatments have so much further they could go.
Best of luck to you and Tommy in the run on Sunday
